Rotten Bananas for the Gorillas

We had ambitious plans for the past Wednesday. Unfortunately, we were unable to perform the same as in the previous week. The week we had to face "esport Lausanne Sports"

In the first game we were already struggling during the draft. Although we got Azir, which was an advantage for our Aleksi "Kehvo" Merta  and Pascal "Feedley" Rieskneuwöhner  who was able to take his preferred Ornn in the Rift couldn’t change the game. eLS made it very difficult for us with the two target bans of Nidalee and Caityln. Due to these bans our team was completed by Jarvan IV, Sivir and Taric.

With his choices of Tristana and Janna — who were still very strong thanks to the "Ardent Censer" which was still very strong on the current patch of "Tournament Realm" — the eLS coach did a great job with forming this strong lane. The team was completed by Gragas, Fiora and Twisted Fate.

Unfortunately, our boys did not succeed to get into the groove of the game and couldn’t perform as good as wanted. The beginning of the game was very tough and not much happened in the first few minutes. But that didn’t stop eSL as they played the match composed and put pressure on all lanes. We could only run after them — hoping to get then- but we were picked out again and again individually. All in all eLS played well and left us no air to breathe. The first game was over after 30 minutes.

For the second game we were able to get a solid draft. We got in our draft: Maokai, Gragas, Orianna, Varus and Lulu. Our opponent answered these choices with: Kennen, Jarvan IV, Anivia, Xayah and Zyra. The second game started mostly the same as the first and both teams were struggling at the beginning. But again, the rotation of eLS was a lot better than ours.

We would have had a chance to win both games if we had not stood in tour own way. Due to this we got defeated 2 to 0 and have now a very tough tournament ahead of us — in which it is important for us to get points.

On Sunday we played against the team "The Bugriders" for the "Road to Vienna". For the "Vienna Challengers Arena" we have four more matches left until our boys are allowed to travel to Vienna. In the second match last Sunday we faced "Alpaka eSports" and were able to defeat them! Our next enemy for the upcoming week in the ESL championship is noone other than "EURONICS GAMING" with their coach Broeki! For the "Vienna Challengers Arena" we will face “Team "Chronobrack".

The first enemy of our CS:GO team this week was "Powerelite”. As they unfortunately didn’t show up for the game — we received a win by default. On Sunday our CS:GO guys played against "nVision eSportz" and were able to balance their score to 6 to 6.

We started the November with rotten bananas and from now on our LOL guys have to give their best to reach their goals for this season. Every single point is important for the relegation battle. On a better note our CS:GO guys had a weak start of the season  but caught themselves and now it's going uphill all the time.

Now it's time to concentrate and recollect our abilities! Only then we will be takes as a serious enemy on the battlefield.
